DESCRIPTIONVP Classic SAE 80w90 GL-4 Gear Oil is an API GL-4 lubricant. We design it for use with yellow metals’ (bronze, brass, copper). We also engineer it for other soft metals used in components found in manual transmissions and transaxles. For instance, synchronizers, thrust washers, bushings, and other components. We recommend its use in traditional manual transmissions such as Rockwell, Muncie, Borg-Warner, Ford, and Saginaw. Additionally, it’s also suited for import manual transmissions/transaxles that call for and API GL-4 gear oil.

Also, do NOT use this 80w90 gear lubricant in applications that require a GL-5 extreme pressure or other gear oil quality. Do NOT use in applications calling for an OEM specialized lubricant.
